Ninja Creami Protein Ice Cream - The Creamiest Ice Cream You'll Ever Make

Updated: Oct 20, 2023

Ice cream is my vice. No matter what I am doing diet wise, I will literally save my splurge meals on ice cream. I have made hundreds of different kinds of ice cream, both healthy and traditionally and have NEVER EVER had ice cream as good as what I've made with my Ninja Creami. The recipe is easy, low calorie, flawless and can be made dairy free and vegan if you'd like.

  1. Any 1 Packet or serving of powdered protein (Use vegan protein to make this vegan)

  2. 1 Tablespoon of Joi Base (I use the Almond base but they have non-nut bases like Oat and Hemp). (If you'd prefer to use store bought milk replace this and the water)

  3. 14 ounces of warm or hot water

  4. 2 Tablespoons Sugar Free Pudding & 1 Tablespoon Plain Gelatin (to make Vegan you can use Vegan pudding or Vegan Gelatin)

* 1 Tablespoon of Stevia Sweetener if you use Gelatin or if the pudding mix requires any sugar added

Mix together using a shaker bottle, blender or a mixer. Place mix in Creami Jar and freeze. This must be completely frozen before use, the Gelatin or Pudding will give you a false sense of solidity.

Remove Jar from freezer. Add 2 tablespoons of room temperature water. Place Creami on the Ice Cream mode. Blend. If you see the mix and it's a bit crumbly, add a little bit more water and re-mix.

This is the smoothest, creamiest ice cream you will ever have.

Every other bite we always say something about how surprisingly good these are. Total calories a pint will vary based on what ingredients you use but the ones I make are between 235-300 calories with roughly 26g of protein. I share this with my spouse and we finish off the pint. This is a tasty, easy way to relieve my sweet tooth but also get in more protein and cool off during these hot Texas summer months. It also is inexpensive, which makes up for the Creami being one of the most expensive appliances in my house (don't tell the rice cooker what I paid for the Creami). So enjoy!

Here are a few combinations we have used based on what protein and pudding/gelatin we had.

  1. Watermelon Hard Candy: 1 Packet Watermelon Seeq Clear Whey Protein; 3 Tablespoons of Gelatin Powder.

  2. Fresh Juicy Mango: 1 Packet Mango Seeq Clear Whey Protein; 2 Tablespoons Mango Pudding & 1 Tablespoon of Gelatin Powder.

  3. Light Mango: 1 Packet Tropical Mango Ideal Lean Clear Whey Protein; 2 Tablespoons Mango Pudding & 1 Tablespoon of Gelatin Powder.

  4. Cookies and Cream: Replace the water and Joi for a Fairlife Core Power Elite Vanilla (this has 42g of protein) and 2 Tablespoons of Sugar Free Vanilla Pudding & 1 Tablespoon of Gelatin Powder. Freeze. Add crushed Oreos after mix. This wasn't as creamy as previous mixes and lacked good depth of flavor. The Oreos saved it but still tasted like "healthy" ice cream.

  5. Chocolate Brownie: Replace the water and protein for Factor Keto Chocolate Brownie Shake; 2 Tablespoons of Sugar Free Chocolate Pudding & 1 Tablespoon of Gelatin Powder.

  6. Rocky Road: Replace the water and protein for Factor Keto Chocolate Brownie Shake; 2 Tablespoons of Sugar Free Chocolate Pudding & 1 Tablespoon of Gelatin Powder. Top with crushed pecans and mini marshmallows.

  7. Orange Creamsicle: 1/2 Packet of Jello Cheesecake Pudding; 1 Scoop of 1 Up Nutrition Orange Creamsicle Ice Cream. The orange is light in this one, next time I make it I will add 1 Tablespoon of Orange Gelatin Powder.

Enjoy
